At the end of 2025, I decided to start a small project.
I travel often. Sometimes for work. Sometimes for pleasure. And I realised that the best parts of a trip are easy to lose once the days start blending together. I take many photos, I save a few, and then life resumes. The memories remain, but the details fade.
So I’m trying something simpler and more intentional.
For each trip (or even for a single afternoon during a trip), I will publish a short post built around five frames: one scene to set the context, one mid-scene moment, one human presence (a portrait, or a trace of people), one detail that explains the place, and one sensory anchor (food, night, movement, weather, whatever captures the mood best).
Alongside the images, I’ll add just a handful of words: what stood out, what surprised me, and one note to my future self.
This is not a travel blog and it is not a performance. It’s a small practice to pay attention, to remember better, and to build a personal archive, one moment at a time.

January 2026 · Madeira and its power · Madeira Island, Portugal
I went to Madeira for a conference. I decided to go a few days before the beginning of the conference to enjoy the island. I did not anticipate what was waiting for me.

January 2026 · Pisa and my old life · Pisa, Tuscany, Italy
I lived in Pisa for 11 years. I lived another life there. A life made with rugby, parties, and friends who are still an important part of my current life.

December 2025 · Visiting my family · Salento, Puglia, Italy
Every year, during Christmas time, I visit my friends and family in Salento, Puglia. Every year is the same, yet different.
